autonomy, confidence, family, ingenuity, bravery

On Halloween, Ben, his best friend Megan and his brother Chris are staying at home while Mum goes on a date with her new boyfriend, Jonathan DeVries. Ben is not at all keen on DeVries – he smells really weird for starters. And when the babysitter cancels, Ben really doesn't fancy spending the night with him at home. The story is very clear and the timeline is very clean. It's not hard to follow. But the characters could be more elaborate to make it more interesting, and maybe add some mystery a the end, stories with a definite closure are less satisfactory. As a conclusion, I quite enjoyed it, and I give my congratulations to the author.

I think this book was great, it had a great plot and the main characters were very well designed. They had a really interesting evolution during the different chapters. When it comes to creating mystery and expectation, the author does it quite well, I found it easy to keep on reading chapter after chapter. Congratulations to the author!

Dear Andrew,

The end of the book was very surprising. I enjoy it a lot. Have you ever though in writing a second part of the mystery box? It would be amazing!

I have found this fiction express book very interesting. The story and the characters where very surprising. The story and the different challenges that the characters face are really fun and exciting. I congratulate you for the book, I liked it a lot and hopefully find another story like that on the platform.

I don't know if you are a professional writer but, in my opinion, you write very well and you have a lot of imagination.

Best regards and good luck
